The following is a list of some of the most frequently asked questions. If you have a question that isn't listed here, please don't hesitate to email me at sales@ryankearney.com.
When you buy web hosting from a company, the income they generate through your monthly payments is spent on a number of things. This can include server costs, support staff, billing department, utility bill for headquarters, and more.
With me, your money goes to one place, the servers. Because you're buying from an individual and not a corporation, I save money by not needing to hire employees, and I'm able to pass that savings on to you.
No, not at all. I personally handle all support tickets as soon as I get them.
That's done by limiting the number of users who can sign up. Once I reach my goal, user registration will be temporally suspended until I feel comfortable with the work load. Limiting the number of users who can sign lets me provide you with better service.
No company could ever truly offer "unlimited" disk space or bandwidth, at least not at this price. More and more web hosts are switching over to "unlimited" disk space and bandwidth. We rely on the fact that the average customer isn't going to use an excessive amount of bandwidth or disk space. The average website uses under 1GB of disk space and 2GB of bandwidth per month. But it doesn't matter if you use 500GB of bandwidth in a single month, you still incur the same low monthly cost.
Unlimited bandwidth and disk space means you don't have to worry about it. Having a quota in place is an inconvenience for the user. Don't worry about "going over" a quota every month and incurring extra charges. The price you pay per month never goes up.
